As the world’s first wasabi-based spirit, Namida awakens the sinuses of those brave enough to try it. Namida, Japanese for tears, is given its unique flavor by integrating New Zealand grown wasabi into its triple-distilled, four-times filtered alcohol base, early on in the production process.

With no artificial colours or flavours, the authentic taste is derived from Sawa wasabi hydroponically grown in New Zealand. Handmade in small batches, the pure Wasabia japonica rhizome is added early in the production process to ensure the taste profile develops from wasabi plant material.

Last year Namida Wasabi Spirit won a Silver medal (Best in Class) at the International Wine and Spirits Competition in the UK and a Commendation at the International World Spirits Challenge.
